Built 2,147 houses for meritorious people, poor and near-poor households

That is the statistics of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee as of May 30 on the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services, poor households, near-poor households, and households affected by Agent Orange/dioxin.

Of the total 2,147/2,225 houses that have started construction (reaching 96.49% of the plan), 1,390 houses have been newly built; 757 houses have been renovated and repaired. The total number of completed houses is 1,672; the remaining 62 houses have not yet started construction.

Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is one of the major policies of the Party and State, with profound humanitarian significance, showing gratitude and repayment to those who have contributed to the revolution; demonstrating the spirit of great national unity, and being responsible to the people. Therefore, the program has received close attention and direction from the central government, the province, and local Party committees and authorities, along with the cooperation of the entire political system and the community. The people trust the leadership of the Party, agree with the policies and laws of the State, and actively participate and respond to the program.

According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, with the drastic participation of authorities at all levels and the cooperation of the community, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province will achieve the set results, complete and organize a program summary before September 2, 2025.
