Many practical movements, strongly oriented towards the grassroots
Promoting the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, Thai Nguyen women have affirmed their important role in socio -economic development, Party and government building and the great national unity bloc.
In the context of the province promoting industrialization, modernization and digital transformation, women at all levels have demonstrated their mettle, dynamism and creativity, continuing the tradition of "Heroic - Indomitable - Loyal - Responsible". Thereby, the strength of more than 300,000 women's union members in the area has been aroused, creating positive changes, making practical contributions to the stability and sustainable development of the province.
In recent years, emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) have gone into depth, spreading strongly from the grassroots to the community. The movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh , the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", programs to support women in starting a business, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas... are all organized systematically, with focus, key points, closely linked to the wishes and needs of members.

Along with traditional activities, the Provincial Women's Union constantly innovates its methods of operation, building many models suitable for the new context such as: "Women's digital group", "Women's group participating in environmental protection", "Women with traffic safety", "Women with peace in hamlets and villages".
Notable among them is the movement “Thai Nguyen women join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas”, creating highlights with hundreds of flower roads, bright - green - clean - beautiful roads that are sustainably maintained, forming many model residential areas. The spread of these models has contributed to preserving the environmental landscape, improving the quality of life and strengthening the relationship between villagers and neighbors.
With the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of women and children, the Association also actively participates in social supervision and criticism; advises the Party Committee and the government to issue many policies related to gender equality, health care, and social security. Many models of support for disadvantaged women, single women, and disadvantaged children have been effectively maintained, clearly demonstrating the role of the Association in humanitarian work and community responsibility.
Affirming the core role in the new mission
In the context of Thai Nguyen implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW and promoting comprehensive digital transformation, women continue to affirm their important role in developing digital society, digital economy and strengthening national solidarity. They are both the pillars of the family - the foundation of society, and the pioneering force in accessing technology, applying digital transformation to production, business, management and building new economic models.

To meet the requirements of new tasks, the Provincial Women's Union has increased the application of information technology in management and operation, built a database of members; promoted communication on social networks; opened training courses on digital skills and business skills on e-commerce platforms.
Models such as: "Community digital transformation women's group", "Digital market", "Zero-VND digital stall"... contribute to supporting women to quickly adapt to the digital economy, access open markets, create more livelihoods and sustainable jobs.
The merger of focal points with the Vietnam Fatherland Front agencies under the new policy creates conditions for women's voices to be more deeply integrated into action programs.
As an important member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Women's Union has more conditions to gather, unite and mobilize women to effectively participate in major movements: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Day for the poor", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", environmental protection movements, building cultural life...
Through this, women become the core force in spreading good values in the community. At the same time, the Union at all levels focuses on understanding the thoughts and aspirations of members, especially disadvantaged women, to promptly propose policies to protect their legitimate rights and interests.

Along with the task of socio-economic development, Thai Nguyen women also actively contribute to Party and government building. The proportion of women in the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term is 21.54%; female delegates of the Provincial People's Council is 39.82%; the province has 3 female members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, 2 Vice Chairmen of the People's Council, 1 Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; 5/13 delegates of the 15th National Assembly are female; nearly 30% of department and branch leaders and 15/92 Party secretaries of communes and wards are female.
These figures affirm the maturity of the female cadres and the effectiveness of the attention and facilitation of the Party Committee and government, and at the same time reflect the strong efforts of women themselves, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Strategy on Gender Equality in the province.
Continue to innovate, spread good values
Entering a new stage of development, Thai Nguyen province aims to become the leading economic - industrial - educational center of the Northern midland and mountainous region. To realize this goal, promoting the role of women becomes increasingly important.
In the coming time, in response to the requirements for changes in the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in order to realize the direction of General Secretary To Lam on building a "Digital Front", "Trust Index" and "Month of listening to people", the Provincial Women's Union at all levels needs to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective direction.
The focus is: Strongly applying digital transformation in management, operation, improving the quality of activities of grassroots organizations of the Association; enhancing the application of digital technology in management, operation and movement implementation. Consolidating and improving the quality of grassroots organizations of the Association must be considered a key task, creating a solid foundation for the work of gathering members.

In addition, the Union at all levels needs to step up propaganda, education, and ideological orientation for members; regularly listen to the thoughts and aspirations of female members; raise awareness of the role of women in building happy families, developing the economy, preserving good cultural values; strengthen activities to protect children's rights, prevent domestic violence, gender violence, and abuse of women and children.
Women's Unions at all levels need to continue to mobilize members to participate more deeply in the process of building advanced, exemplary new rural areas; civilized urban areas; environmental protection, and green economic development. Focus on participating in implementing breakthroughs and strategic goals of the province.
At the same time, it is necessary to step up participation in social supervision and criticism, especially regarding policies related to women, children, social security, and gender equality. The Association must truly become a bridge between the people and the Party and the government; and accompany the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in carrying out the province's development tasks.
In particular, more attention should be paid to the work of discovering, training and introducing capable and prestigious female cadres, in order to build a team of female cadres that meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.
In the spirit of the whole province being determined to successfully implement socio-economic development goals, digital transformation program, new rural construction, civilized urban areas, Thai Nguyen women continue to affirm their role as an important force in the patriotic emulation movement.
With the tradition of solidarity, responsibility and intelligence, we believe that the Women's Union at all levels of Thai Nguyen province will continue to innovate and create, making an important contribution to the construction of the province to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern. Thai Nguyen women will always be a reliable support for families and society, an important factor in building the great national unity bloc and a strong driving force to promote the sustainable development of the province in the new period.
