With the top criteria being to ensure product quality and promote the health safety of consumers, safe spring roll and sausage production facilities like Ms. Hoa's are noteworthy highlights. "While dirty food is everywhere, farmer members are the ones directly involved in the production of agricultural products. Raising awareness and responsibility of farmers in production and business to ensure food hygiene and safety is important in developing agricultural production, associated with processing and consuming safe agricultural products," Ms. Hoa shared.

As a bridge between farmers and authorities at all levels, the City Farmers’ Association, with its responsibility, has guided its members in the area to actively innovate farming and production methods from traditional to safe and organic agricultural production. This change not only improves product quality but also expands the consumption market, bringing high economic value, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the local agricultural sector.

The city's Farmers' Associations at all levels have promoted propaganda activities at the grassroots level through various forms such as field seminars, branch meetings, excellent farmers' club activities, competitions, fairs, etc. As a result, 50 training courses have been organized for 2,500 farmer members to produce without using toxic additives in food processing, and to use pesticides in accordance with regulations. At the same time, they have actively mobilized and guided farming households and food businesses to sign the commitment "Farmers produce, trade, and consume quality, safe agricultural products and food". Thereby, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of members. To date, 77,822 member households have registered to participate.

In fact, many farmer members have applied safe and organic agricultural production models such as growing organic pennywort in Quang Tho, organic vegetables in Quang Thanh, organic rice in Phu My... These models not only help protect the environment but also improve economic efficiency for farmers. Not only stopping at production, the Farmers' Association of Hue City also accompanies farmers in the product consumption stage. Through safe agricultural markets, green - clean - traceable stalls, agricultural products of Hue farmers are increasingly closer to consumers. The Association also supports the registration of QR codes, packaging, labels, and gradually builds the brand of Hue agricultural products.

The city's HND has coordinated with relevant units to organize the construction and development of safe agricultural products, helping consumers easily access safe and quality food. Production linkage models according to the value chain have also been implemented, such as linking with Que Lam Company to produce and consume organic rice and raise organic pigs.

This transformation not only brings economic benefits to farmers but also contributes to protecting public health and the environment.
