From the foundation of a system of stable industrial parks (IPs), to the launch of the Ngu Lac IP project in the coastal area, a new chain of links is being formed, attracting businesses and promoting regional economic growth.

Bright spot in Long Duc Industrial Park
The province currently has one economic zone (EZ) of more than 39,000 hectares, which is one of the key coastal EZs in the country, planned for multi-sector and multi-field development, and 17 approved industrial parks.
Industrial zones contribute over 4,000 billion VND/year to the provincial budget. Of which, 5 industrial zones are in operation, attracting over 200 projects, with over 85,000 billion VND and 4 billion USD, creating jobs for over 100,000 workers.
Standing out in the system of industrial parks in the province, Long Duc Industrial Park is affirming its position as a bright spot in attracting investment and economic development.
With 100 hectares, Long Duc Industrial Park has been basically filled, becoming the place of operation of 30 domestic and foreign enterprises, creating stable jobs for more than 14,000 workers. The diversity of industries in the Industrial Park from processing, manufacturing to logistics, creates a rich economic ecosystem, helping enterprises connect, take advantage of resources and improve productivity.
Ngu Lac Industrial Park is expected to become the next highlight of the province. With a scale of 316 hectares, about 3,000 billion VND. Ngu Lac Industrial Park will complete the infrastructure system in the coastal economic zone, creating momentum for industrial development, logistics, energy and trade-services, contributing to creating jobs for local workers, actively contributing to the economic restructuring towards modernity, greenness and sustainability.
Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board - Nguyen Van Phuong said: With the orientation of expanding development space and improving investment attraction capacity, the province is focusing on promoting the completion of the system of coastal industrial parks and economic zones and is implementing 6 new industrial parks and calling for investment in 7 other industrial parks.
In particular, the province is completing the dossier to expand Dinh An Economic Zone and waiting for the Prime Minister's approval, with 2 plans to develop new spaces along the coastal axis, with a scale of 50,000-85,000 hectares, extending from the starting point in Ben Tre province (old) to Tra Vinh (old). The implementation of new industrial parks and the expansion of Dinh An Economic Zone not only attracts domestic and foreign investment capital, but also contributes to solving employment for local workers.
New expectations in Ngu Lac Industrial Park
By April 2025, after the survey process and full implementation of legal regulations, Green i-Park Dinh An Joint Stock Company was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment policy and became the investor to implement the investment project to build and operate infrastructure of Ngu Lac Industrial Park, with a progress of 5 years from the date the State leased the land.
This is a key project in the strategy to expand the development space of Dinh An Economic Zone, contributing significantly to the local industrialization and modernization process.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Dang - Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Chairman of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Ngu Lac Commune said: The implementation has received high consensus from the people. However, during the implementation process, the compensation council hopes that the relevant units will strengthen coordination between the investor and the locality, ensuring the project is implemented smoothly and on schedule.
Mr. Tran Van Chien (Cay Xoai Hamlet, Ngu Lac Commune) shared: “The Ngu Lac Industrial Park project will create jobs for local workers. My family currently has more than 1 hectare of aquaculture land that is subject to compensation for the project, so I hope that the locality and investors will soon implement compensation work so that my family can soon stabilize their lives, continue production and develop the economy.”
Similarly, Ms. Huynh Thi Loan (Cay Da hamlet, Ngu Lac commune) said: “Initial survey shows that my family has nearly 1.5 hectares of aquaculture land located in the project area. I hope to soon receive compensation to orient the new economic development.”

With a large area, a location near the seaport, located in the core area of wind and solar power, the completed Ngu Lac Industrial Park attracts many domestic and foreign manufacturing enterprises, creating stable jobs for about 25,000 workers, creating a new driving force for socio-economic development for the province, forming a green, circular and smart industrial ecosystem.
