The first working session, the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province

On the afternoon of July 30, the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2024 - 2029, held its first working session. Attending and chairing the Congress were comrades Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

In the first working session, the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province conducted consultations to elect the Presidium and Secretary of the Congress; approved the Program and Regulations of the Congress; summarized the situation of delegates attending the Congress; reviewed the activities of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province for the 2019-2024 term.

The congress also heard presentations from localities, sectors, unions and member organizations on promoting the role in social criticism work; prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic; trade unions in caring for the material and spiritual life of workers; Buddhists actively participating in charity and humanitarian work...

The Congress voted to elect 114 members to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XV, 2024 - 2029.

On the same afternoon, the Congress conducted consultations and unanimously voted to elect 114 members to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 15th term, 2024-2029. The consultations elected a delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term, including 12 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.

Also this afternoon, the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with Nghe An Publishing House to organize a book launching ceremony to welcome the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, towards the 10th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029. In particular, the book "Bright examples of the term" is 808 pages thick, selecting 259 works out of nearly 1,300 works participating in the contest "Pride of the Vietnam Fatherland Front ".

The book “Nghe An Front in the Heart of the People” is 206 pages long, selecting 21 works/series of works that won prizes out of a total of 836 works participating in the contest launched by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in coordination with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association. These are works that contribute significantly to the propaganda and dissemination of good deeds and beautiful actions of those working in the Front at all levels, for the cause of great national unity in Nghe An province.
