Famous actress Matsushita Nao will take on the role of Han Seo Jin, played by Yum Jung Ah in the original - a strong-willed mother determined to send her daughter to the nation's top university.

Meanwhile, Koyuki Matsuyama - who co-starred with Tom Cruise in "Last Samurai" (2003), will take on the role of Kim Yoo Jung of Kim Seo Hyung - a famous tutor in the industry.

Meanwhile, "Classic" (2003) - one of the most famous romantic movies in Korea will be remade into a Taiwanese (Chinese) movie with the title "Our Destiny".

The film stars Vanda Margraf - the main actress in the blockbuster "Ip Man 4: The Finale" (2019), taking on the lead role previously played by Son Ye Jin.

It is worth mentioning that not only Korean films are remade, but famous projects in Taiwan (China) are also produced in Korea.

Among them is "You Are the Apple of My Eye" (2011) starring Tran Nghien Hy and Kha Chan Dong, telling the story of a group of close friends who develop feelings for a famous female student.

In the Korean version, since its announcement, the project has attracted attention due to the participation of K-pop idols such as Jung Jinyoung (B1A4) and Dahyun (TWICE). The film has started filming this month but has not yet set a release date.

Another project remade from Taiwan (China) is "Secret" (2007) - the highest-grossing Taiwanese (China) film in Korea with 170,000 tickets sold nationwide.

The original version is a story of a piano prodigy who meets a mysterious girl after transferring to a prestigious music school. The Korean version, titled "Secret: Untold Melody," will star EXO's D.O. and Won Jin A in the main cast.

The work is of interest as it is directed by Seo Yoo Min - who made his directorial debut with the mystery thriller "Recalled" (2021), "Secret: Untold Melody" will be released later this year.
