“Tunnels: Sun in the Dark” is a film project that director Bui Thac Chuyen has been nurturing for more than 10 years. The film is inspired by real events after 1967, telling the story of a 21-man guerrilla squad fighting in the Cu Chi area, with the mission of holding out, holding the area, and taking on the task of protecting and keeping secrets for the strategic intelligence group to collect and transmit information.

The film stars Meritorious Artist Cao Minh, actors Thai Hoa, Ho Thu Anh, Quang Tuan, Diem Hang Lamoon, Bui Thac Phong, Nhat Y, Khanh Ly... The work was invested heavily, mobilizing a large force of extras and many heavy weapons that the US used in the war in South Vietnam at that time.

This is also the first film about revolutionary war that does not use the state budget but is produced from socialized sources.

When it premiered, the film attracted attention and positive comments from experts, and at the same time, received positive feedback from many young audiences and spread on social networking platforms.
