Attending were members of the Book's Editorial and Publishing Board and the Working Group; members of the Lao National Assembly 's Working Group.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly Vu Hai Ha highly appreciated the achievements of the Steering Committee and the Book Compilation Board of the two National Assemblies in the past time; emphasizing that the development and compilation of the book is a very important political and foreign affairs task, contributing to widely propagating and raising awareness of the people of the two countries about the close relationship between Vietnam and Laos and the relationship between the two legislative bodies. The book is a joint project of the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National Assembly of Laos, which was unanimously approved by the leaders of the two National Assemblies.

The Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee highly appreciated the fact that the expert delegations from both sides worked, exchanged, and discussed very positively and constructively on the compilation and publication of the book. Thereby, they basically agreed on the content of the draft book and the content that needs to be further supplemented.

The Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee stated that, based on the proposals and opinions of the Lao National Assembly, after returning home, the Vietnamese expert delegation promptly reviewed and supplemented specific and detailed contents in all 3 chapters of the book and sent it to the Lao National Assembly for comments on April 10, 2025. Up to now, the Lao National Assembly has basically agreed with the contents that the Vietnamese side has supplemented to complete the book.

Chairman of the Lao National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Sanya Praseuth expressed his excitement that the two sides had actively coordinated to discuss and agree on many contents of the book; expressing his belief that within the framework of this visit and working session, the two sides would continue to agree on the remaining contents to complete the draft book to ensure quality and progress as set out.

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Sanya Praseuth added that after the two sides basically agree on the draft contents, it is expected that by next May, the draft book will be submitted to the National Steering Committee for compiling and publishing the book; after that, the Delegation will discuss with the Vietnamese National Assembly once again to agree on publishing the book.
The Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee said that, based on the third draft of the book, the Vietnamese National Assembly will organize a workshop or send it to ask for opinions from leaders, former leaders of the National Assembly, agencies of the National Assembly, and relevant units and will report to ask for approval from the Standing Committee of the Vietnamese National Assembly, revise and complete the final draft of the book (expected in June 2025); strive to accept the book, deploy printing, publishing and distributing the book in July 2025.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on the entire content and form of the book.
