Disseminate and guide the implementation of Project No. 01 and Directive No. 12 of the Central Committee on improving the effectiveness of Party and People's foreign affairs

BHG - On the morning of November 24, the Central External Relations Commission held an online conference with provinces and cities to disseminate and guide the implementation of Project No. 01 - DA/TW of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on strengthening and improving the effectiveness of the Party's external relations until 2025 and Directive No. 12 - CT/TW of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership to improve the effectiveness of people's foreign relations in the new situation. Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central External Relations Commission chaired the conference.

At the conference, the leaders of the Central External Relations Commission thoroughly grasped and informed the basic contents of Project No. 01 and Directive No. 12. Accordingly, Project No. 01 was issued to achieve the goal of ensuring the highest national interests, contributing to creating and maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, mobilizing resources for development, enhancing the position and prestige of the country, successfully implementing the strategic goals and visions of the country set by the 13th National Party Congress until 2025, 2030 and 2045; promoting the pivotal and pioneering role of the Party's foreign affairs.

Directive No. 12 requires Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people's organizations to perform well their tasks to improve the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs, contributing to building a comprehensive and modern diplomacy with three pillars: Party foreign affairs, state diplomacy and people's foreign affairs.

Implementing Project No. 01 and Directive No. 12, the Provincial Party Committee issued Program No. 23 on July 5, 2022 to create unity in awareness, responsibility, and action of Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, workers and people; strengthen and improve the effectiveness of people-to-people foreign relations in the new situation, meeting the requirements of comprehensively promoting the cause of innovation, international integration and firmly defending the Fatherland; promote the expansion and strengthening of friendly relations and mutual understanding between the people of all ethnic groups in Ha Giang province and people of other countries, making the international community better understand the country and people of Vietnam in general and Ha Giang province in particular; Seek international consensus, support, conditions and resources to contribute to building and maintaining a peaceful and stable border, sustainable socio-economic development, and improving the lives of people in the province.

At the conference, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, provinces and cities participated in discussions, contributed opinions, recommendations, and proposed solutions to implement Project No. 01 and Directive No. 12 to improve the effectiveness of the Party's foreign relations and people's foreign relations in the new situation.
