Specifically, according to the above Decision, the Ministry of Finance will issue 668,505 tons of rice from the national reserve without charge to support people in provinces facing difficulties during the crop shortage period in early 2025. Of which, Ha Giang will be allocated 305,565 tons of rice; Tuyen Quang will be allocated 191,925 tons of rice; Bac Kan will be allocated 171,015 tons of rice.

This is a practical source of support, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, State and Government for the lives of people in ethnic minority, mountainous and border areas, where there are many difficulties and deprivations.

The reception, allocation and distribution of rice to people will be implemented urgently, to the right people, publicly and transparently by all levels, sectors and localities, ensuring that people do not go hungry during the lean season, contributing to stabilizing social security and promoting local socio-economic development.
