Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh and the delegation visited and wished a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of Moc Chau District Police, Chieng Son Border Guard Station, and the poor, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances of Moc Chau District.
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh praised and highly appreciated the efforts of Son La province in taking care of Tet for cadres, soldiers, workers, employees and people, contributing to ensuring social security work, firmly consolidating the people's hearts and minds combined with a solid people's security posture.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested local authorities, organizations and units in the province to continue to do well in social security and poverty reduction work, continue to pay attention to allocating funds from the budget and mobilizing socialized resources to support policy families, meritorious people, poor households and people in especially difficult circumstances in the province to have conditions to improve their lives.
For the armed forces, it is recommended that officers and soldiers perform well in their duties of being on duty, being ready to fight, ensuring security and order, especially before, during and after the Spring of At Ty 2025.
Continuing the program, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly presented 300 million VND to policy families and poor households in Son La province from the support fund of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
The Central working delegation and provincial leaders presented gifts to the Moc Chau District Police and Chieng Son Border Guard Station; and presented 40 gifts to officers and soldiers of Moc Chau District Police and Chieng Son Border Guard Station.
The delegation also presented 150 gifts to poor households, policy households and workers in difficult circumstances in Moc Chau district. Hung Yen province presented 1 billion VND to Son La province to support poor households in the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh visited and congratulated Moc Chau district on the occasion of the announcement ceremony of the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of Moc Chau town and the arrangement and establishment of commune-level administrative units in Moc Chau town.
Acknowledging the district's comprehensive development achievements, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized: This is a particularly important event not only for the Party Committee, government and people of Moc Chau district, but also has historical significance, marking a new development milestone of Son La province on the path of development and integration.
