Also participating in the field inspection were leaders of a number of departments, branches, localities and units implementing the Hot Air Balloon Festival.

Working with units and surveying the location of the Festival, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the Hot Air Balloon Festival was organized for the first time at the provincial level with the largest scale in the country so far.

In particular, the Festival takes place during the days when the whole country is looking forward to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30. Therefore, the Festival not only promotes the image, country and people of Dong Nai but is also one of the key activities of the province towards the important event of the country.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units, departments and branches to pay attention to ensuring a safe space for the event, creating conditions for people to have the opportunity to admire and experience hot air balloons during the event.

Dong Nai Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place at Son Tien Tourist Area from April 27 to 30. This is the largest hot air balloon festival ever in Vietnam with 50 hot air balloons of all kinds flying at Son Tien Tourist Area, creating an impressive and unique space.

At the festival, visitors have the opportunity to participate in a hang-gliding flight, viewing the whole view of Bien Hoa city and surrounding areas from a height of 50m; visit and explore the inside of a hot air balloon... Besides the main activities, the festival also has paragliding performances, fabric-winged planes, large-scale artistic kite flying, and a brass band performance with the participation of 150 children.

In particular, during the days of the Hot Air Balloon Festival, people will experience free hot air balloon flights with the form of hanging up to a height of about 50m. Hot air balloon flights take place twice a day. Morning from 6-9am, afternoon from 4-6pm.
