Ninh Thuan promotes investment promotion activities - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

In recent times, Ninh Thuan province has focused on effectively implementing investment, trade and tourism promotion activities, considering this a key and breakthrough task to attract resources, create a strong driving force to promote the local socio -economic development rapidly and sustainably, especially in the context of 2025 having a key significance, successfully completing the goals of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year plan 2021-2025.

Attracting investment with focus and key points

Identifying investment attraction as a key task, playing an important role in development, Ninh Thuan province focuses on calling for investment in areas where the province has outstanding competitive advantages, in line with the orientation of sustainable development.

Comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ninh Thuan, affirmed: “We are calling for investment in 5 key areas: Energy and renewable energy, high-quality tourism, processing and manufacturing industry, high-tech agriculture , construction and real estate. Ninh Thuan province is committed to continuing to reform administrative procedures, creating a transparent and professional investment environment, accompanying businesses throughout their operations in the locality”.

In particular, Ninh Thuan is promoting the attraction of strategic, large-scale projects into the southern key economic zone of the province, such as: Ca Na LNG (liquefied natural gas) Power Project; petroleum depot project, green technology complex and post-salt chemicals; renewable energy equipment manufacturing project (wind power, solar power), agricultural and aquatic product processing industry, manufacturing; seaport infrastructure project, logistics...

To realize these goals, the province has proactively and flexibly implemented investment promotion activities. In the first quarter of 2025, Ninh Thuan successfully organized investment promotion delegations in potential and key markets such as China and South Korea. Provincial leaders also proactively worked with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, actively inviting strategic investors to survey opportunities and explore potential.

Most recently, the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee had an effective working session with the delegation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (Taiwan, China) in Ho Chi Minh City and many foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) to survey the investment environment. After directly visiting and learning about the Du Long and Phuoc Nam Industrial Parks, the enterprises expressed their interest in the investment environment, preferential policies and priority areas, such as: Renewable energy, aquaculture, tourism, high-tech agriculture and logistics. Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Director of the Southern Investment Promotion Center (Foreign Investment Department, Ministry of Finance) highly appreciated the potential of Ninh Thuan province, especially in the field of renewable energy, which is suitable for the advantages of Taiwanese enterprises.

Along with attracting investment, trade and tourism promotion activities of Ninh Thuan province are also being vigorously implemented, with the goal of expanding product consumption markets, increasing the value and competitiveness of local goods, enhancing experiences, and attracting domestic and foreign tourists.

Accordingly, Ninh Thuan province strengthens regional and regional connectivity and strongly orients towards export markets; actively supports businesses in finding partners, expanding output for key products, OCOP products, and specific agricultural products. Promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in promotion activities is considered an optimal solution to improve efficiency. Up to now, the province's e-commerce platform has had 418 typical, quality products participating, contributing to promoting and connecting trade.

In addition, Ninh Thuan focuses on developing tourism - a key economic sector in a sustainable, high-quality, differentiated direction, focusing on experiential tourism, strengthening international cooperation, especially with key markets such as Korea, India, China... These efforts have brought about encouraging results. The number of tourists in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at more than 890,000, an increase of 11.3% over the same period in 2024, showing the increasing attractiveness of Ninh Thuan destination.

Proactive and flexible in implementing tasks and solutions

According to comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee: On March 25, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 165/QD-UBND approving the "Program for promoting investment, trade and tourism in Ninh Thuan province in 2025" with many specific and breakthrough tasks and solutions.

Regarding investment promotion activities, the province assigned departments and branches to continue to conduct in-depth market research and analyze potential partners; build and strongly promote the province's image and investment environment; strengthen support and dialogue activities, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses and investors; build a synchronous database, complete the list of quality and attractive investment calling projects; focus on training and fostering to improve the capacity and professionalism of the staff working in promotion; promote domestic and international cooperation, especially closely coordinate with central ministries, branches, prestigious promotion organizations and other provinces and cities.

In the tourism sector, Ninh Thuan focuses on developing markets, especially key markets with high growth potential; strengthening consulting and supporting tourism business connections; supporting the development of unique and distinctive tourism products; diversifying forms of promotion and destination introduction (especially promoting promotion on digital platforms). Along with that, Ninh Thuan province advocates promoting the organization or participation in major cultural and tourism events inside and outside the province; focusing on training high-quality tourism human resources and implementing stimulus programs, linking and cooperating to effectively develop tourism.

With the spirit of innovation, proactiveness, and determination in direction and management, and the synchronous participation of the entire political system and business community, Ninh Thuan is gradually affirming its position as an attractive destination for investment, trade and tourism, contributing to building the homeland to become increasingly sustainable, prosperous, and civilized.

In the first 3 months of 2025, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province directed the removal of difficulties and obstacles for 24 enterprises and investors; directly guided procedures for 42 investors and enterprises; approved investment policies and approved investors for 6 projects (total capital of about 101 billion VND), approved information for 1 project for bidding (25 billion VND) and adjusted investment policies for 9 projects.
