Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh inspected preparations for the new school year in Ham Thanh commune.

On the afternoon of August 15, comrade Nguyen Minh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, as head of the working delegation, inspected Ham Can Secondary School, Ham Thanh Commune, on preparations for the new school year 2025 - 2026.

According to the Board of Directors of Ham Can Secondary School, up to now, the school has completed all preparations for the new school year. The school ensures enough classrooms to meet the requirements of teaching 2 sessions/day; assigns teachers ready for teaching tasks.

Teachers are regularly trained according to the program of the Ministry of Education and Training , and textbooks have been used stably over the years.

However, currently, the school lacks music and computer teachers. In addition, desks and chairs for students and teaching equipment for grades 7, 8, and 9 are still lacking. The main reason is that there has not been enough funding allocated to invest in equipment.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Ham Can Secondary School has a total of 138 students, including 4 classes. Of which, 112 are ethnic minority students.

During the inspection, Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Lam Dong requested the school to continue to implement innovative thinking in management and teaching. Focus on building a green - clean - beautiful environment, creating a friendly learning space; pay attention to students' psychology; regularly train and improve the professional skills of the teaching staff; encourage the spirit of self-study, proactively update knowledge, especially apply information technology in teaching and learning.

In addition, the Commune People's Committee needs to review school facilities throughout the area, in line with the scale and learning needs of students. At the same time, pay attention to fully arranging conditions according to decentralization and legal regulations. Along with that, survey, make plans for recruitment, professional training for teachers; develop and implement a roadmap for organizing 2 sessions/day of teaching.
