(kontumtv.vn) – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thap has just inspected the situation of overcoming damage caused by natural disasters in Sa Thay district .

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thap inspected the landslide at Gia Rai stream, Son An village, Sa Son commune; and the landslides at Dak Sia stream, Sa Thay town. These landslides affect many households with cultivated land along the stream banks, and pose many potential dangers when it rains heavily and the water level rises.

After the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thap requested Sa Thay district to continue to strictly implement the directions of the Government, the Prime Minister and the province on natural disaster prevention, search and rescue; improve the capacity to prevent floods, storms and natural disasters, prepare the "4 on-site" plan; promote propaganda to raise awareness of natural disaster prevention for people. For vulnerable points, have plans and solutions to ensure safety for people when storms and floods occur; regularly monitor the weather situation to be proactive in prevention, response, and timely response, minimizing damage to people and property caused by natural disasters./.
