At the meeting, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Hanh (Dien Nam Dong ward, Dien Ban town) and a number of citizens related to the Vien Minh - Ha Dua Urban Area project (invested by Dien Ban Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company) requested the Provincial People's Committee to provide information on the issuance of land use right certificates at the project; urge the investor to complete procedures for issuing land use right certificates and hand them over to the people according to the signed contract.
Representatives of departments and branches said that the Vien Minh - Ha Dua Urban Area project has basically completed investment on the allocated land area, has fulfilled financial obligations to the State and has been granted land use right certificates to investors for most of the project blocks. However, up to now, there are still 4 blocks that have not been implemented because the project investment period has expired.
Based on the opinions of departments and branches, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the Department of Planning and Investment to study and review to advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider the decision to extend the project investment in accordance with the provisions of law. When the Provincial People's Committee issues a decision to extend the project, the Department of Planning and Investment will monitor and inspect the progress to assess the capacity of the investor and the effectiveness of the project.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan also requested the People's Committee of Dien Ban town to focus on resolving existing problems and difficulties arising in compensation and site clearance work; and complete related documents and procedures.
After hearing the conclusion, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Hanh and other citizens expressed their agreement and hope that the departments, branches, and People's Committee of Dien Ban town would follow the instructions of the provincial leaders, soon complete the project, and ensure the legitimate rights of the people.
Also this morning, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan received representatives of citizens who bought land in projects in An Phu Urban Area (Dien Nam Trung Ward, Dien Ban Town) about buying land for nearly 10 years but not yet having a red book.
