Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long visited and presented Tet gifts to workers and representatives of disadvantaged families in Bac Ninh province.

Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Thi Ha, Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor ; representatives of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Representing Bac Ninh province were comrades: Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council. Comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan and Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha presented gifts to workers and representatives of families in difficult circumstances.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi reported on the general work of taking care of Tet for policy beneficiaries in the province. Currently, the whole province has 125,416 beneficiaries of the revolution, of which 16,385 beneficiaries of the revolution and their relatives are receiving monthly allowances, with a total allowance of nearly 38 billion VND/month. In addition to the policies of the Party and the State related to gratitude activities, the province has issued many special policies of the province for beneficiaries of the revolution. Each year, the province spends more than 100 billion VND to implement special policies of the province on preferential treatment and care for beneficiaries of the revolution.

Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Huong Giang and representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented gifts to workers and representatives of families in difficult circumstances.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the province plans to visit and present gifts to 55,567 people with meritorious services and social welfare beneficiaries; organize delegations to visit and present gifts to localities of the province and nursing units for war invalids, social assistance facilities, with a total budget of 51.4 billion VND.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ha and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi presented gifts to workers and representatives of families in difficult circumstances.

Districts, towns and cities all have plans to well implement social security policies, care for the material and spiritual life of the people, pay attention, care, promptly and have appropriate support policies, ensuring that everyone, every family can enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet. In addition to gifts from the President for people with meritorious services, gifts from the province, most districts and communes have gifts for subjects in the area. Agencies, units and enterprises carry out many activities to care for the lives of workers during Tet.

The Provincial People's Committee plans to organize 8 delegations to visit and present gifts to Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center, Military Hospital 110, social assistance facilities, units on duty for the Lunar New Year 2025, policy beneficiaries, and disadvantaged people in the province, while also inspecting agricultural and industrial production and festivals.

On behalf of the Party and State, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long acknowledged the efforts of Bac Ninh province in implementing social security policies in general and taking care of Tet for policy beneficiaries in particular; requested the province to continue to pay attention to implementing social security policies well and improving people's lives. The Deputy Prime Minister wished the people of Bac Ninh province and workers in the area a happy and warm Tet.

Party, State and provincial leaders presented gifts to 100 workers and representatives of disadvantaged households, each gift worth 1,300,000 VND.
