On the morning of November 19, a Government working delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung inspected flood response work in Dien Dien commune ( Khanh Hoa province), which is currently severely flooded.
Inspecting the heavily flooded area at Km1452+212 on National Highway 1, in Dien Dien commune, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung requested the authorities to evacuate all residents in villages 1, 2, and 3 to safety at all costs. In particular, prepare a full response plan when heavy rain continues.

At the same time, the evacuation of people in the above area must be completed during the day, people's lives are most important, and the locality is required to mobilize more canoes and rescue boats.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Khanh Hoa provincial government today to evacuate people in the heavily flooded area in Tay Nha Trang ward who are at risk of being unsafe to higher ground, putting people's lives first.
With heavy rain forecast to continue to develop complicatedly in Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Gia Lai provinces, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the Central Government has requested these provinces to have plans to ensure safety for people, and at the same time directed Military Region 5 to provide maximum support in terms of food, including dry rations.
With the flooding situation still lingering, the Deputy Prime Minister requested Khanh Hoa to increase food support and prepare adequate medicine so that people in isolated areas do not lack food and drinking water.
According to the Dien Dien Commune Military Command, from November 17 to 18, the commune's functional forces used canoes to evacuate many people to safety. This morning, the locality will mobilize, even forcefully evacuate, some people who refuse to leave to ensure safety.

Previously, on the afternoon of November 18, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung and a working delegation from the Government and Khanh Hoa province directly went to the scene to direct the handling of the landslide at Khanh Le Pass (National Highway 27C, Nam Khanh Vinh Commune, Khanh Hoa Province). The delegation also visited and encouraged the victims of the Khanh Le Pass landslide at Khanh Hoa General Hospital.
At the same time, there was a working session with Khanh Hoa province on the implementation of response and flood relief work in the area and the granting of emergency aid of 50 billion VND to Khanh Hoa to overcome damage caused by floods.
