(Chinhphu.vn) - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd. (Hana Micron Group of Korea) at Van Trung Industrial Park, Nenh ward, Bac Ninh province this afternoon (August 15).

Currently, Hana Micron Group has implemented 2 investment projects in Bac Ninh province. Specifically, the investment project in Yen Phong Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province invested in 2016 and put into operation in 2017 with a total investment capital of nearly 32.5 million USD, operating in the field of manufacturing electronic components and lighting equipment and the project in Van Trung Industrial Park, Nenh ward, Bac Ninh province with a total investment capital of nearly 670 million USD.

The project in Van Trung Industrial Park, Nenh Ward was invested by Hana Micron Group since 2019 and put factory No. 1 into operation in 2020. In September 2023, Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd. continued to inaugurate and put into operation the Hana Micron Vina 2 semiconductor factory, switching to produce products: Integrated circuit boards (Wire Bond; Flipchip; FPS/Flexible, UMCP, DRAM, NAND and DRAM Module, SSD via surface mount technology - SMT) used for mobile phones and other smart electronic products. This is the first semiconductor manufacturing project in the North with a total scale of 6.5 hectares.

Revenue of Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd. in Van Trung Industrial Park, Nenh Ward in 2024 reached 8,877 billion VND; 6 months of 2025 reached 5,600 billion VND, estimated to reach 14,000 billion VND for the whole year. Export value in 2024 is 8,877 billion VND, in 2025 export is expected to reach 12,500 billion VND.

At Hana Micron Vina Company Limited, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh listened to a report on the Company's production and business situation; directly visited and learned about the Company's semiconductor chip production process.
