Standing Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Vo Van Dung pays tribute to heroic martyrs

The delegation of the Central Internal Affairs Committee visited and presented gifts to the family of Dien Bien soldier Pham Van Ngan, group 3, Thanh Truong ward, Dien Bien Phu city. Here, comrade Vo Van Dung kindly asked about the health and life of Mr. Pham Van Ngan and his family. Expressing his respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the Dien Bien soldiers in the resistance war against French colonialism in general and of Mr. Pham Van Ngan in particular, comrade Vo Van Dung wished him good health, continuing to be a shining example for his descendants to follow in terms of revolutionary spirit, and to strictly follow the policies and guidelines of the Party and State.

Next, the delegation of the Central Internal Affairs Commission came to lay wreaths and offer incense at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple and A1 Martyrs' Cemetery. In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, comrade Vo Van Dung and the delegation laid wreaths, offered incense, and observed a minute of silence, expressing their infinite gratitude for the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh , commemorating General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs, the youth volunteers, the frontline workers and the people who fought and sacrificed heroically on the Dien Bien Phu battlefield.

In the afternoon of the same day, comrade Vo Van Dung and the delegation visited and learned about the history at some relics of the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Relic Complex.
