Princess Leonor - heir to the Spanish throne - often chooses feminine, mature dresses at the age of 18.
On her 18th birthday (October 31), Princess Leonor swore allegiance to the Spanish constitution, ready to become the heir to the throne. In the ceremony before the parliament in Madrid, she wore a white suit and a medal. The event marked the moment when the princess automatically became the head of state of Spain in the absence of King Felipe VI (right).
Leonor (right), born in 2005, is the eldest child of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia (center). The princess speaks French, English and Catalan. She is also learning Galician and Basque, two local languages spoken in Spain.
In August, she began three years of training at a military academy in Zaragoza to prepare for her future as commander-in-chief of the Spanish armed forces. Like her father, Leonor plans to serve a year in each branch of the armed forces, starting with the army, before finishing university.
The princess developed a mature, feminine style at the age of 18, often wearing knee-length office dresses and high heels. According to Town and Country magazine, she was influenced by her mother's fashion style. Photo: EPA
The princess has shared outfits with her mother on several occasions. During a trip organized by the Spanish Red Cross in Madrid, she wore a Carolina Herrara blazer and earrings from her mother's wardrobe. Leonor paired hers with a red Hugo Boss turtleneck and black leather flats.
Last October, Leonor took to the stage to deliver her speech at the Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo, her hair neatly tied back in a bun, wearing a leaf-patterned dress and slingback heels.
Leonor and her sister Princess Sofia (left) visited the Cartoixa de Valldemossa on the island of Mallorca last summer. The sisters both chose platform shoes and country-style cotton dresses.
The princess family appeared in Obradoiro Square in July 2022. The mother and daughter all wore colorful dresses, of which Leonor (second from right) wore a sleeveless A-line dress in pink and orange, combined with nude shoes to make her legs slimmer.
At another event, Princess Leonor (middle) wore an off-shoulder dress - a design she rarely chooses. The princess did not wear elaborate jewelry, only small earrings.
According to Hello magazine, the princess's wardrobe includes a few V-neck dresses, while the rest are mostly dresses with high necklines, creating a modest look.
