Photo and video contest 'Happy Vietnam 2025' goes viral

The program responding to the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2025" in Ho Chi Minh City attracted the participation of many artists, intellectuals, athletes, coaches, students, people with disabilities... with the special presence of many generals and military officers through the periods in the southern region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Trieu Xuan Hoa - Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former Commander of Military Region 7, emotionally shared: "Human rights are not abstract. They are the right to live safely, study, work, be loved and develop. Today, I clearly feel the continuation of the spirit of soldiers in peacetime through music , images, sports and compassion."

Mr. Huynh Vinh Ai - Chairman of the Vietnam Sports Association for the Disabled, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasized: "When disadvantaged people are empowered to express themselves, are recognized and respected, that is the most practical step to build a happy society".

Dr. Ly Dai Nghia - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition Center, Vice President of Vietnam Paralympic Association affirmed: "Sports is the path that opens up opportunities for people with disabilities to live confidently and with value and is a vivid expression of human rights".

Dr. Vo Danh Hai - Vice President of the World Martial Arts Association, permanent member of the Organizing Committee of the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam 2025" in the southern region confided: "In a moment of peace, when the country is developing and the world is full of turmoil, each of us, whether an artist, athlete, student or soldier, can become a "Golden Star Warrior". Let's spread the good things, fight against indifference, protect ourselves, our families, and our country from all changes with kind actions and a spirit of solidarity".

The "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award is held annually to spread the image of Vietnam as a happy, developed and humane country.

The photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam 2025" is continuing to receive entries from within and outside the country, with diverse forms of expression: artistic photos, press photos, video clips, short documentaries, youth compositions...

Previously, on May 22 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with other organizations to launch the annual media award on human rights with the theme: "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2025". The award is held annually to spread the image of Vietnam as a happy, developed and humane country through media works (photos, videos) that truly reflect the political, economic, cultural and social life of the country. Thereby, contributing to promoting policies to ensure human rights, enhancing the prestige and position of Vietnam in the international arena.
