Sharing on the social network Threads at 5:55 p.m. today (June 26), an account named HVL posted a photo with a comment about the suspected leak of math questions from the 2018 General Education Program (new program) for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

Specifically, the photo was taken of a platform specializing in question and answer exercises, in which a user sent a question to this platform for an answer. The incident became notable when the question was attached with a photo, and both the photo and the content that the user sent matched question 2, part III in the math exam code 0118. According to information displayed from the platform, the above question was posted at 3:08 p.m. on June 26, attracting 70 views.

Meanwhile, at exactly 4:00 p.m., the math exam bell rang across the country.

Based on information reported by social media users, Thanh Nien accessed the platform called StudyX and confirmed that this question was still displayed at 8:00 p.m. today, June 26. Right below this question, the platform provided the answer in Vietnamese at 3:09 p.m., just one minute later. The answer clearly stated the idea of solving the problem and the calculation steps, then gave the final result of 1682.8.

According to the introduction, StudyX, headquartered in the US, is a “learning tool” designed to support learners in the process of doing homework. “We provide a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and human guidance…”, the company’s homepage states.

To learn more about the suspected math problem leak, we contacted the account HVL - the first person to discover the incident - but have not received a response. Thanh Nien will continue to record and inform about this issue.

Previously in 2022, Thanh Nien reported a similar incident that took place on an application specializing in asking and answering homework questions called Snapask. Specifically, at 3:28 p.m., an account named mastermo posted an exam with code 112, folded at the top to cover the candidate's registration number and placed on the ground, next to which traces of shoes and chairs could be detected - details that are not at all suitable for the situation of needing to solve "normal" questions.

The incident was discovered on July 7. A few days later, the authorities confirmed that the exam questions had been leaked at the Da Nang City Examination Council and the examination council then canceled the high school graduation exam results of the violating candidates.

This year, the high school graduation exam took place on June 26 and 27 with more than 1.1 million candidates participating. Today, candidates completed two subjects: literature and mathematics. Tomorrow, June 27, candidates will continue to take the optional exam (with the new program) and the natural science and social science exam (with the old program) in the morning. In the afternoon, only candidates with the old program will continue to take the foreign language exam.
