Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's wife visits the National Museum of Fine Arts of Malaysia

On the afternoon of May 27, within the framework of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to Malaysia and participation in the 46th ASEAN Summit and related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, the Prime Minister's wife, Ms. Le Thi Bich Tran, visited the National Museum of Fine Arts of Malaysia.

Welcoming Mrs. Le Thi Bich Tran were Mr. Amerrudin Ahmad - General Director of the National Art Gallery of Malaysia, and representatives of the Museum's leadership.

Here, the Director of the Museum introduced and guided the lady to visit the Nusa art collection displayed in three main exhibition rooms. The collection includes many representative works reflecting the depth of culture, history and national identity of Malaysia, while clearly demonstrating the intersection between tradition and modernity in contemporary art.

Mr. Amerrudin Ahmad - General Director of the National Art Gallery of Malaysia introduced and guided Mrs. Le Thi Bich Tran to visit the Nusa art collection displayed in three main exhibition rooms.

Madam Le Thi Bich Tran also visited the special exhibition called A Gift From – a space displaying artworks donated to the Museum by ASEAN member countries. The Madam stopped to admire and express her pride at the work of a Vietnamese artist displayed solemnly in the exhibition, vividly demonstrating the friendship and solidarity in the ASEAN community.

The First Lady expressed her deep impression of the efforts of the National Museum of Fine Arts of Malaysia in preserving and promoting artistic values, while promoting regional cultural exchanges, contributing to enhancing understanding, cooperation and solidarity among ASEAN countries.

Next, the Lady visited the painting restoration room - where the valuable works of art of the Museum are preserved and restored. Here, the Lady was introduced to the professional and meticulous restoration process, contributing to the long-term preservation of precious cultural and artistic values.

On this occasion, Mrs. Le Thi Bich Tran respectfully wrote in the Museum's guestbook, expressing her deep gratitude for the warm welcome and meaningful artistic experiences. The lady also took souvenir photos with the leaders and staff of the Museum in a solemn and friendly atmosphere.

Mrs. Le Thi Bich Tran presented a lotus painting to Mr. Amerrudin Ahmad - General Director of the National Art Gallery of Malaysia.
