  • Awarding 46 prizes for Youth Informatics Competition

On the afternoon of July 23, Mr. Tran Huu, Director of the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development (Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) announced the results of the Regional Round and the list of contestants and teams selected for the Final Round of the 31st National Youth Informatics Competition in 2025.

Candidates and teams of Ca Mau province are confident and have achieved high results in the Southern region round of the 31st National Youth Informatics Contest.

According to Announcement No. 141, Ca Mau province achieved impressive results in the Southern Regional Round of the 31st National Youth Informatics Contest in 2025 with a total of 13 prizes: 2 First prizes, 2 Second prizes, 5 Third prizes and 4 Consolation prizes.

Two First Prizes went to: The product “Small ATM plan to exchange trash for gifts” by the group of authors Cao Nhat Duy and Phan Le Anh Khoa (grade 9A, Le Hong Phong Secondary School, Long Dien commune) in Group D2 (secondary school); The product “Smart shrimp square drainage” by Tran Quoc Dat (grade 10A11, Cai Nuoc High School, Cai Nuoc commune ) in Group D3 (high school).

The product “Small ATM plan to exchange trash for gifts” by students in Ca Mau province will participate in the Final Round of the 31st National Youth Informatics Contest in early August.

With this result, two representatives of Ca Mau officially participated in the Final Round of the 31st National Youth Informatics Contest, taking place from August 8-10, 2025 at the University of Science, Hue University, Hue City.

Immediately after announcing the results of the Regional Round, the National Competition Organizing Committee issued a notice summoning officials and candidates to attend the Final Round.

Previously, on July 6, the Ca Mau delegation participated in the Southern Regional Round of the 31st National Youth Informatics Competition at Far East College (Ho Chi Minh City). The delegation consisted of 30 contestants, divided into competition groups of Primary School, Secondary School, Specialized High School and Non-Specialized High School. In addition, there were 4 contestants participating in the online competition of Group D2 and 3 contestants participating in the online competition of Group D3.

The National Youth Informatics Competition is a meaningful annual playground, not only helping students practice programming skills and creative thinking, but also forming ideas and researching, applying technology to solve practical problems in life, emphasizing the role of information technology. The competition contributes to career orientation, meeting the requirements in the current 4.0 technology era.
