Phu Tho plans to arrange accommodation for officials, civil servants and public employees after the province's merger.

On May 14, Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang listened to reports from departments and branches on the plan to arrange accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the province's merger; the plan to arrange and allocate working offices, facilities and equipment of agencies and units when implementing the arrangement and consolidation of administrative units.

The Department of Construction of Phu Tho province has reported on the plan to build official housing and arrange accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the merger of the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh.

Accordingly, the total number of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh provinces expected to register for residence is 4,405 people, of which 270 are cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; 4,135 are civil servants and public employees.

After reviewing, the Department of Construction has organized a meeting with three units currently managing and operating housing invested by the State budget, including: Hung Vuong University dormitory area; Phu Tho Provincial Conference Center guest house area and student apartment complex in Minh Phuong urban area to arrange accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the province's merger.

Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang said that the arrangement of official housing and accommodation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers after the province's merger is an urgent task that needs to be implemented synchronously and in accordance with actual conditions.

Regarding official housing for officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, in the immediate future, research and calculate the arrangement of official housing options at the premises of the Provincial Party Committee headquarters, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Conference Center, ensuring compliance with current regulations on subjects eligible for official housing benefits.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province assigned the Department of Construction to urgently review the existing housing fund, propose a plan to renovate and arrange accommodation for civil servants and public employees; at the same time, based on actual needs, research and build a new public housing area on the premises of the Provincial Convention Center to meet immediate needs and flexibly convert the usage function to suit actual requirements and report to the Provincial People's Committee in the coming time.

Along with that, urgently speed up the implementation of social housing projects in the area, giving priority to those eligible for social housing support according to the law, especially those facing difficulties in housing.

The Department of Finance studies and proposes policies to support travel and ensure stable working and living conditions for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers.

Regarding the arrangement of provincial administrative units: Use all the working headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, mass organizations, departments, branches and specialized agencies of the current Phu Tho province to arrange the working headquarters of the agencies and units of the new Phu Tho province.

For the headquarters of professional agencies of the two provinces of Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh, maintain the arrangement of leaders and a number of cadres, civil servants and workers, ensuring the normal operation of tasks and support services for people and businesses. Research, consider and arrange a working headquarters for many agencies, organizations and units to use according to prescribed management methods.
