Promoting brocade weaving through the Vietnam-Dak Lak Brocade Fashion Program 2025

The program is organized to promote the traditional cultural value of brocade weaving - a unique heritage, occupying an important position in the daily life and culture of the Vietnamese ethnic community in general and Dak Lak province in particular.

Through the performance, costumes woven from cotton and linen combined with natural dyes and unique patterns on brocade fabric will tell cultural stories, reflecting the spiritual life and beliefs of the Vietnamese ethnic communities living in all regions of the country.

With the theme “The beauty of the high mountains”, the brocade fashion show has a special meaning, being one of the practical and meaningful activities to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). The program will honor the beauty of brocade of ethnic groups, contributing to promoting the cultural image of Dak Lak to domestic and international friends; arousing the spirit of national pride and self-esteem of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands and encouraging the development of cultural industry associated with tourism according to the socio-economic development strategy of Dak Lak province.

Program Jury.

Dak Lak province has 49 ethnic groups living together, of which ethnic minorities account for about 35% of the population. In recent years, with the attention of Party committees at all levels, authorities and the cultural sector, the traditional cultural values ​​of the ethnic groups living in the province have been preserved, maintained and promoted in life, including brocade weaving, contributing to promoting tourism development, increasing income and improving the spiritual and material life of the people.

In particular, the brocade fashion show organized by Hoa Anh Duong Art One Member Limited Liability Company gathered famous designers such as: Viet Hung. Ngoc Bich (Bigally brand); Thach Linh and Hachisa Diamond brand.

Beauties and colorful brocade will appear at the show.

Accompanying the program are famous beauty queens, runners-up, and models such as Rashmita Rasindran (Miss Charm 2024), Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van (Miss Global 2025), Bui Xuan Hanh (Miss Cosmo Viet Nam 2023), Dinh Thi Hoa (Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024), Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy (Miss National Vietnam 2024), Nguyen Thanh Ha (Miss Eco International 2023), Le Hong Hanh (Miss Grand Viet Nam runner-up), Nam Anh (Vietnam fashion model champion), Ngoc Trang (Vietnam jewelry runner-up), King Trung Nguyen... and many other famous models.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Program will take place with many unique and impressive activities, especially typical designs of brocade fashion collections brought to the program by designers.

The program will take place at 7:00 p.m. on May 17, 2025, at Dak Lak Museum, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province.
