It can be said that the Popular Education Movement has created a solid foundation for the country's education career. The early eradication of illiteracy is an extremely important factor to help our country develop and innovate as it is today.
Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation emphasizes: “Strengthening the comprehensive leadership of the Party, promoting the combined strength of the entire political system, the active participation of entrepreneurs, enterprises and people in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. Identifying this as a profound and comprehensive revolution in all fields; implemented resolutely, persistently, synchronously, consistently and long-term with breakthrough and revolutionary solutions”.
The "Digital Education for All" movement was launched in response to the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the meeting with teachers on November 18, 2024, emphasizing that popularizing digital transformation knowledge is an urgent task.
In An Giang, through the "Digital Literacy for All" Movement, people in the province have a foundation for learning and are equipped with the necessary digital knowledge and skills to apply in daily life to grasp, utilize, exploit, and enjoy the achievements of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
The Provincial People's Committee has coordinated with the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group to build the "Lifelong Learning" application on the SmartAnGiang platform to respond to the movement, providing basic digital knowledge and skills for people in the province to participate in learning.
To achieve the above goal, An Giang province will synchronously deploy many groups of solutions, including: Disseminating knowledge about digital transformation and digital skills for each target group; deploying models and movements to spread digital skills to the community, such as "Digital Market - Digital Rural Area", "Each Citizen - A Digital Identity" and "Community Digital Technology Group", Youth Campaign to join hands to disseminate digital skills...
For the “Digital Literacy for All” movement to be successful, the entire political system of An Giang province must consider the implementation of the Movement a central and continuous task. Political and social organizations at all levels must develop response plans, establish specific models and directly implement them; Cadres and party members need to be pioneers and exemplary in learning, practicing and spreading digital skills...
