VIC hits ceiling, VN-Index still loses 1,300 point mark

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: VIC, VHM, GEE, VPB, KBC, VRE, CTG, CII, LGC, VPI, with an increase of more than 5.4 points. On the contrary, stocks: VPL, VCB, FPT , LPB, BID, GAS, GVR, STB, VJC, SAB were sold heavily, taking away more than 6.4 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the order matching value of this session was equivalent to the previous session, reaching more than 19,634.09 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold approximately VND562 billion on the HoSE in this session. In terms of buying, VIC shares were bought the most with a value of more than VND175 billion, followed by MBB (VND148 billion), CTG (VND84 billion), FUEVFVND (VND73 billion)... On the contrary, VHM was sold the most (VND1,005 billion), followed by GEX (VND126 billion), MSN (VND115 billion), DXG (VND62 billion)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 7 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 22 stocks decreasing.

Of which, VIC increased to the ceiling price of VND85,600/share, VHM increased by 1.38%, VRE increased by 1.02%.

Codes: CTG, HDB, TCB, VPB increased slightly with BVH stopping at reference.

Meanwhile, real estate stocks reversed the trend and closed the session up 2.37%, the highest increase in the market. Besides the pillar stocks: VIC, VHM, VRE mentioned above, other stocks with good growth include: HPX up 2.14%, KBC up 3.48%, NBB up 5.49%, QCG up 2.18%, VPI up 2.45%. On the contrary, TDH hit the floor, HAR down 2.47%, SIP down 3.24%, VSI down 4.75%...

Other stock sectors such as: consumer services decreased by 2.67%, telecommunications decreased by 2.33%, software decreased by 2.3%, energy decreased by 1.55%, raw materials decreased by 1.35%, food-beverage and tobacco decreased by 1.11%, insurance, transportation, distribution and retail of durable goods, and utilities decreased slightly.

On the other hand, consumer goods and decoration increased by 1.79%, specialized services and trade increased by 1.4%, and production materials increased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index plunged today, VNXALL-Index closed down 15.47 points (-0.72%), down to 2,129.82 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 891.31 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 21,521.43 billion. In the whole market, there were 124 stocks increasing in price, 73 stocks remaining unchanged and 256 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 217.24 points, down 1.45% (-0.66%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 60.88 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND930.647 billion. The entire floor had 60 stocks increasing, 60 stocks remaining unchanged and 93 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 3.65 points (-0.84%) to 431.75 points. Trading volume reached about 32.41 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND638.129 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 5 stocks increasing, 6 stocks remaining unchanged and 19 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 95.80 points, up 0.30 points (+0.31%). Liquidity reached over 890.34 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND21,398.57 billion. The entire floor had 110 stocks increasing, 42 stocks remaining unchanged and 216 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 4.69 points (-0.34%) to 1,379.75 points. Liquidity reached more than 377.45 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND11,370.33 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 7 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 22 stocks decreasing.
