Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha attended the ceremony.
This is a city-level project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The project of constructing a new multi-purpose training and competition hall to meet the needs of training and competition of all indoor sports (such as aerobics, aerobics, dancing, singing, international dancing, table tennis, badminton, martial arts, multi-purpose competition hall...) with an expected capacity of about 600 spectators with an underground part including 1 basement; 3 above-ground floors, the height of the building does not exceed the height of the existing gymnasium of Quan Ngua Sports Complex.
The project also adds a standard outdoor tennis and basketball court; completes the construction of new outdoor auxiliary items such as technical systems, guardhouses, gardens, gates, fences, power supply systems, water supply, outdoor drainage, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

Notably, the project is designed, constructed and operated to meet green building criteria such as standards on efficient energy use, resource saving, ensuring comfort, quality of living environment inside the project and protecting the environment outside the project; the building shell design has the ability to reduce solar radiation...
The completion of the project has had great contributions from all levels, sectors, construction units and especially the support and consensus of the people of Ba Dinh district in the past and Ngoc Ha ward in the present.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ngoc Ha Ward People's Committee Do Ha Thanh said that the completion of Quan Ngua Sports Complex not only creates a modern and professional space for sports training and competition, but also an ideal cultural, entertainment and recreation destination for the people of the capital. This project demonstrates the special attention of the Party and State to improving the quality of cultural and spiritual life and improving the health of the people.
It is not only a simple architectural work, but also a symbol of solidarity, unanimity and determination of the entire Party and people of Ngoc Ha ward. The project was completed on the occasion of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which truly has profound political and social significance.
“In the coming time, Quan Ngua Sports Palace will become an important sports and cultural destination, a place to nurture and develop talents, and a space to connect the community, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of developing Ngoc Ha ward, Hanoi city into a civilized, modern, and humane one,” said the Vice Chairman of Ngoc Ha Ward People's Committee.
