Phu Thuong Ward gives gifts to families of war invalids and martyrs

On the afternoon of July 25, Phu Thuong ward held a ceremony to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee Do Dinh Son emphasized the profound significance of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

According to comrade Do Dinh Son, over the years, the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Thuong ward have always attached importance to caring for and improving the material and spiritual lives of war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution. This is not only a responsibility but also a deep sentiment and sincere gratitude for the noble sacrifices.

On the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Phu Thuong Ward organized many practical and meaningful activities. The Ward mobilized organizations and individuals to support 190 million VND to visit and give gifts to 240 policy beneficiaries who are war invalids, sick soldiers and families worshiping martyrs in the area.

In addition, the delegation of Phu Thuong ward also offered incense at Mai Dich Cemetery and Hanoi City Martyrs Cemetery.

The Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee sincerely thanks businesses and philanthropists who have accompanied the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Thuong Ward in carrying out gratitude activities and giving gifts to policy families in the area. At the same time, he called on all people to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition of Phu Thuong homeland, striving to study, practice and contribute more, contributing to building the homeland and country to become more prosperous and civilized.

Within the framework of the ceremony, the Ward People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio -political organizations of the ward, together with coordinating units, presented gifts of gratitude to policy families, people with revolutionary contributions, families of war invalids and martyrs.
