Tinh Gia Ward: Many activities to honor workers on the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Tinh Gia ward organized many practical activities to honor people with revolutionary contributions and policy families.

Comrade Trinh Xuan Phu, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council visited and presented gifts to war invalid Le Van Dung of Sub-zone 1.

Tinh Gia Ward currently has 1,221 meritorious people and their relatives, of which 774 meritorious people and their relatives are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

To carry out the work of gratitude, the ward has directed the Department of Culture - Society, the Center for Public Service Provision and villages, sub-areas and residential groups to promote propaganda and implement policies and regimes for people with meritorious services; at the same time, mobilize people to actively participate in the movement of "Repaying gratitude".

Comrade Tran Hanh Phuc, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Duc Mien, a victim of toxic chemicals, in Sub-zone 4.

The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the ward established 8 working delegations led by ward leaders and representatives of departments, offices, and units to visit, encourage, and present gifts to 32 families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution in villages, sub-areas, and residential groups in the ward; and organized flower and incense offerings at 5 memorials for heroes and martyrs in the ward.

Comrade Dang Van Quang, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, a victim of toxic chemicals, Sub-zone 2.

On this occasion, the ward's branches, unions and agencies and units in the ward also had many practical activities to visit and give gifts to policy families and families with revolutionary contributions in the ward.
