Faced with that situation, Xuan Dai ward authorities mobilized forces to urgently evacuate 130 households severely flooded in Binh Thanh neighborhood.
Of these, 20 households have fragile houses and live in residential areas at risk of further flooding and landslides. These households have been provided with safe accommodation and basic needs during the complicated period of flooding.

Mr. Ho Hong Nam, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Xuan Dai Ward, said that the water level of Binh Ba River continues to rise, and the rain shows no signs of abating, causing many residential areas such as Tan Thanh, Van Phuoc and Deo Ganh Do to face the risk of deeper flooding, along with the risk of landslides.

Local authorities continue to assign forces to be on duty 24/24, increase warnings and resolutely prevent people and vehicles from moving through deeply flooded areas with potential landslides to ensure safety. People need to be extremely vigilant, limit going out when not necessary and proactively coordinate with functional forces in disaster prevention and control work.
The ward authorities are also closely monitoring the weather situation and are ready to support the evacuation of more households in case the flood situation continues to worsen.
