PV GAS is ready to supply LNG to industrial customers

After a long period of research, study, investment and construction, PV GAS is ready to bring LNG to the market. At present, PV GAS has proven its position, potential and reliable capacity on the "green energy journey" as the first and only enterprise in Vietnam to be granted a Certificate of eligibility for LNG export and import traders by the Ministry of Industry and Trade .

PV GAS's LNG 1 MMTPA Thi Vai Warehouse is also the only LNG storage and import port in Vietnam that has been completed and is ready to supply recycled LNG to consumers in the Southeast region. The entire project is built with high quality, along with modern techniques and advanced technology. The LNG 1 MMTPA Thi Vai Warehouse project fully meets domestic and international standards and regulations, as well as operational safety requirements. Through an in-depth assessment process, LNG 1 MMTPA Thi Vai Warehouse is highly appreciated for its detail, feasibility, and tightness between operational stages. PV GAS has also completed the tank truck loading station and will be put into operation from the first quarter of 2024.

In addition, PV GAS is urgently implementing phase 2 with a warehouse capacity of 3 million tons/year by 2026, and simultaneously implementing the Son My LNG central port warehouse project in Binh Thuan with a capacity of 6 million tons/year in 2 phases, serving 2 Son My power plants and the South Central region. In the North and North Central regions, PV GAS is also actively searching and selecting locations to invest in 2 central LNG port warehouses with a capacity of 3 million tons/year each. Thus, the 4 central LNG port warehouses of PV GAS that have been and are expected to be invested will have a total capacity of up to 15 million tons/year.

In addition, to ensure a stable LNG supply, PV GAS has worked and signed many contracts with major LNG suppliers from different regions around the world such as: the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, etc. LNG suppliers are also very diverse, from producers to trading companies (portfolio players/ trading houses). Cooperating with major, reputable LNG suppliers in different regions around the world will help PV GAS be more flexible in choosing supply sources with optimal commercial terms.
