PVCFC holds extraordinary shareholders' meeting in 2025

Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC, stock code: DCM) has just held the 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders at the Company's Office in Ho Chi Minh City, in the form of an in-person meeting. The meeting approved important contents arising during the year, ensuring that the management and operation work is implemented in a unified, timely and in accordance with regulations.

Amendment and supplement to gas contract

One of the key contents approved by the congress is the amendment and supplement No. 11 - Gas purchase and sale contract PM3 CAA and Lot 46 Cai Nuoc (No. 3918/HD-DKVN dated May 23, 2012).

According to the resolution, PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) will replace PetroVietnam as the gas seller and inherit all rights and obligations under the current contract. The amendment only relates to the change of the contract subject, while all terms, rights and obligations between the parties remain the same.

The business representative said that the transfer was carried out on the basis of a resolution approving the policy of the Petrovietnam board of members, ensuring legality, transparency and stability in the gas supply chain for PVCFC.

The Congress also authorized the Board of Directors to review and decide on necessary adjustments and supplements (if any) in accordance with the State's policies and regulations from time to time.

Change the business name, complete the governance regulations

The congress also unanimously approved the policy of changing the company's name, amending and supplementing the charter, internal regulations on governance, operating regulations of the board of directors and the board of supervisors. According to the resolution, the official name of the enterprise will be "Joint Stock Company - PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Corporation".

PVCFC representative said that the name change has legal significance, marking a new development stage in the strategy of expanding scale and building an agricultural ecosystem. The new name is expected to create a favorable foundation for M&A plans, expanding market share, promoting exports and enhancing the brand position of the enterprise in the regional market.

The contents approved at the congress contribute to perfecting the legal framework, improving management efficiency and creating a solid foundation for the company's long-term development strategy. In the period of 2026 - 2030, PVCFC determines its long-term development strategy to focus on three main pillars, including: diversifying and developing products and services in the fertilizer sector; investing, producing and trading in the industrial gas and fertilizer-related chemicals sector; investing, producing and trading in the post-harvest processing sector.
