Futsal Golden Ball 2017 appeared at Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2025

On the morning of October 11, the 2017 Futsal Golden Ball - Phung Trong Luan was present to watch the match between Long An International Port and Khanh Hoa Trade Union at the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.

At 9:00 a.m., the match between Long An International Port and Khanh Hoa Trade Union at the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament not only welcomed special guest Mr. Vo Quoc Thang (Bau Thang), but also had the presence of Phung Trong Luan - Golden Ball Futsal 2017.

His appearance added to the frenzied atmosphere on the field.

Phung Trong Luan (born 1985) is known as one of the most veteran and experienced futsal players in Vietnam.

He is the one who laid the first bricks for the development of this sport in the country. With his intelligent playing style, skillful individual techniques and ability to lead the whole team, Trong Luan has left many strong marks in his career.

He has played for top futsal teams such as Thai Son Nam, Sanna Khanh Hoa and especially the Vietnam national futsal team. The most memorable milestone was winning a historic ticket with his teammates to attend the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2016 - the first time Vietnamese futsal reached the world stage.

With what he has achieved up to now, Phung Trong Luan deserves to be a professional role model for many generations of young players to follow.

Surprised by the professional quality of the tournament

Currently, Phung Trong Luan has moved to teaching at Royal School. Sharing with Tuoi Tre , the 2017 Futsal Golden Ball said that despite his busy work, he still tries to arrange time to attend the tournament.

His main purpose is to "light the fire" and support his close brothers in the Khanh Hoa Trade Union team. Those who have been with him through many memorable matches. This action demonstrates the professionalism and affection of a Vietnamese futsal legend.

Commenting on the tournament atmosphere, Trong Luan expressed his surprise and impression: "I felt very crowded and enthusiastic. Even though they were union teams, they played very well."

The former 2017 Futsal Golden Ball also highly appreciated the overall professional quality: "The players at the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament are of very good quality, contributing to making the tournament very high quality in terms of expertise."

The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Vietnam Football Federation. This is the third consecutive year the tournament has taken place.

The 2025 tournament is sponsored by Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO), Dong Luc Sports Group, HTP Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company, Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company, Sunshine Group, Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), Faslink Fashion Connection Joint Stock Company, 108 Central Military Hospital, 175 Military Hospital and a number of enterprises.

The Northern qualifying round took place from October 3 to 5 at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, determining 6 names to win tickets to the national final round, including the champion, the People's Public Security Trade Union.
