Ngo Quyen District dialogues and mobilizes households and individuals to promptly hand over the site to implement the Flower Garden Construction Project at An Da Temple area, Dang Giang ward.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of August 13, the Enforcement Implementation Board of Ngo Quyen District organized propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue with households and individuals who did not comply with handing over the land for the project to build a flower garden in the An Da temple area, Dang Giang ward, Ngo Quyen District. Vice Chairman of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee Dang Van Khoi chaired the Dialogue.

The project to build a flower garden in the An Da Temple area, Dang Giang ward, Ngo Quyen district was approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 1966/QD-UBND dated July 10, 2023, the land area to be cleared is ^7,077m2 corresponding to 02 organizations and 19 households. The project's objective is to renovate and upgrade the central urban area, create landscapes and social welfare works of cultural value; improve the status of vacant land and ineffectively used land, contributing to improving urban green tree indicators to serve the spiritual life of people in the inner city. The project contributes to modernizing Hai Phong city in a green and civilized direction, completing the criteria of a type 1 urban area. In the past time, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen district has focused on propagating and mobilizing organizations and households with recovered land to comply with the handover of the site for project implementation. As of August 12, 2024, the site clearance for 02/02 organizations and 14/19 households has been completed; 05/19 households are using the land of the People's Committee of Dang Giang ward but have not yet complied with the handover of the site. Ngo Quyen District People's Committee has fully implemented procedures, documents, and reported to the City People's Committee to organize compulsory land recovery in accordance with legal regulations.

With a high sense of responsibility, the Party Committee, the government and socio -political organizations of Ngo Quyen district and Dang Giang ward have persistently propagated, mobilized and explained to create consensus among households. However, as of 5:00 p.m. on August 13, 2024, 05 households have not yet complied with handing over the land to implement the project.

In the coming time, the District People's Committee will continue to direct the entire political system from the district to the ward to propagate and mobilize households to comply with the handover of land, minimizing the cases of forced eviction. In case households do not agree, the District People's Committee plans to deploy the procedures for forced land recovery for cases of non-compliance according to regulations from 08:00 on August 14, 2024./.
