Regarding the contents of the night-time economic project implementation at Sky Garden commercial and culinary street (Tan Phong ward), the People's Committee of District 7 this morning (July 30) said that this is 1 of 3 areas in the pilot project to develop the night-time economy associated with local tourism development, which was approved in principle by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in November 2023.

The remaining two places are the Crescent Lake - Anh Sao Bridge area (Tan Phong ward) and the N11 road area - Bank residential area (Tan Thuan Tay ward).

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Ngoan - Vice Chairman of District 7 People's Committee, Sky Garden commercial - culinary street has a scale of 2.6 hectares. This location will have 222 business establishments, including: 125 food service businesses, 40 beauty care establishments, 32 accommodation establishments and 25 commercial and service establishments. The operating hours of the business establishments here are from 18-24 hours daily.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh - Head of Economic Department, District 7 People's Committee - shared that the reason for choosing this area for the first pilot is because this is not a walking street, and there is no time limit for vehicles to be banned. In addition, based on the current operating status of this street, the district only improves the quality.
