The spiritual cultural complex on Fansipan peak is honored in India

Sun World Fansipan Legend received the award "Typical spiritual and cultural complex of Asia - Pacific " from the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations and the Indian Council for Global Trade and Technology.

The Sun World Fansipan Legend spiritual cultural complex is one of 80 representatives of Vietnam to be honored and awarded at the Awards Forum within the framework of the Vietnam - India Economic - Cultural Exchange Forum in India. The program was attended and supported by the Vietnamese Embassy in India, the Asia - Pacific UNESCO Federation, the Vietnam UNESCO Federation and more than 80 scientists, managers, social activists, businesses... The tourist area on the top of Fansipan was selected to be honored based on many strict criteria such as: prestigious brand with customers, having a sustainable development orientation, having long-term brand development policies and plans, and committing to upholding the values of the forum. This spiritual cultural complex is the second project, after the cable car system that has achieved many world records, built at the sacred peak of Fansipan. The complex was once called "a spectacular miracle" by Professor and Architect Hoang Dao Kinh because it was built on the rugged high mountain terrain and harsh weather of the sacred Fansipan peak with architecture and scale in harmony with nature.

The complex stretches from an altitude of 2,900 m to 3,143 m on the Fansipan peak, including 12 structures, bearing the spirit of ancient Vietnamese pagodas in the North in the 15th - 16th centuries. The construction items in the complex are limited in size, following the land, leaning on the inherent terrain, preserving the vegetation as it existed in the highlands hundreds of years ago. The highlight of this complex is Kim Son Bao Thang Tu, located at an altitude of more than 3,000 m above sea level, with a "domestic" structure, complete with front hall - Tam Bao - Toan house - side corridor, stone tower and Tam Quan gate. In addition, the 21m high Amitabha Buddha statue is crafted from tens of thousands of thin copper sheets, covered with special techniques on a steel frame with a volume of 1000 m3, currently holding the record for "The highest bronze Amitabha Buddha statue in Asia".

Every year, the Fansipan spiritual cultural complex organizes many cultural and spiritual events according to the Buddhist calendar, including: Spring Festival opening the gate to heaven, Buddha's Birthday, Vu Lan Festival... attracting the participation of many abbots, monks, nuns, and Buddhists from all over the country. The appearance of the spiritual complex on the top of Fansipan has transformed this place from a legendary mountain once known only for its challenges to become a peaceful place of meditation, where tourists and Buddhists get lost in the mysterious spiritual world. Fansipan, therefore, is no longer just a simple mountain tourist destination but has returned to its true meaning as a sacred peak of Vietnam, a heritage for thousands of generations to come. The award "Asia-Pacific Outstanding Spiritual Cultural Complex" is the first international title for the Fansipan spiritual cultural complex, recognized by a prestigious organization in the world. This is of great significance, affirming the efforts of the tourist area in preserving traditional cultural values, contributing to promoting tourism and local economy , and at the same time raising the level of Lao Cai tourism in general and Vietnam in particular in the international arena.
