Promoting the image of Yamanashi province, Japan in Hoi An

(QNO) - At An Hoi Sculpture Garden (Hoi An City), Yamanashi Province UTY Television Station and Erize Tourism Company (Japan) have just organized an exhibition to promote the image of Yamanashi Province.

The units displayed and served free of charge Yamanashi Prefecture’s famous product, Shingen Mochi, made from rice flour, soybean flour, and brown sugar syrup. This type of mochi is popular with the Japanese and is an indispensable gift for tourists when visiting Yamanashi.

In addition, representatives of four cities of Yamanashi Prefecture, including Kofu, Fuefuki, Yamanashi and Koshu, also promoted and introduced to Hoi An residents and visitors the culinary culture of each city. The Japanese side also organized a small survey with tourists about their feelings about Japan.

This is a bilateral promotion cooperation program between Yamanashi province and Hoi An city, held for the second time (the first time in December 2022) to promote economic - tourism - trade development, contributing to creating a good relationship between the two localities.
