Quang Nam to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14D in November 2025

Vice Chairman of Quang Nam People's Committee, Mr. Tran Nam Hung has just given instructions and conclusions after a field inspection of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14D.

The National Highway 14D renovation and upgrade project has a total estimated investment of 4,518 billion VND. Of which, the central budget supports 4,513 billion VND, and the Quang Nam provincial budget is 5 billion VND.

In 2025, the Project is allocated 505 billion VND; in 2026 it is 1,700 billion VND, in 2027 it is 1,700 billion VND and in 2028 it is 613 billion VND. The Project has a scale of a grade III mountainous road, with a total actual route length of about 74.4 km.

To soon deploy investment in this important traffic route, Mr. Tran Nam Hung requested the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to assign the Board's leaders to directly coordinate with the survey contractor and the consulting unit to prepare the Investment Feasibility Study Report to thoroughly and comprehensively survey the entire National Highway 14D.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province requested that special attention should be paid to dangerous curves, sections with small radius curves, large slopes or potential traffic safety risks. From there, specific solutions should be proposed...

The Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board must strive to complete the approval of investment projects before July 31, 2025, and complete the approval of construction designs implemented after the basic design before September 30, 2025.

At the same time, ensure the prescribed conditions to organize the construction commencement before November 30, 2025 and disburse all capital plan for 2025 from the central budget allocated for the project.

To start construction of the project soon, the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works is responsible for developing a detailed implementation plan for each work content, ensuring the motto of "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear results, clear responsibilities"...
