On the afternoon of November 12, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung surveyed, inspected and worked with the local government of Tam Hai commune, Nui Thanh district, to resolve a number of urgent recommendations on this island commune.

According to the leader of Tam Hai Commune People's Committee, the Tam Hai ferry was damaged and stopped operating since November 8, affecting the daily life of the people. People had to use boats and ships under 15CV to transport students and people back and forth, posing a potential safety risk. During the ferry repair process, the local government coordinated with the Border Guard force to support and monitor vehicles transporting people back and forth during rush hour. The local government is urgently repairing the ferry, and it is expected that in about a week the problem will be fixed and the ferry will be back in operation.

Inspecting the Tam Hai ferry terminal, the anti-erosion embankment project and some areas in the commune, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet shared the difficulties of the government and people of the island commune. The Provincial Party Committee Secretary requested that in the immediate future, it is necessary to focus on urgently fixing the damaged ferry incident. While waiting for the ferry to resume operation, it is necessary to ensure absolute safety for the island commune's people moving to the mainland on the Tam Quang - Tam Hai route. Regarding the slow progress of the embankment route in villages 3 and 4 due to some households not accepting the compensation and clearance plan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested that the locality fully implement current policies and mobilize people to implement the policy to hand over the construction site, ensuring the project is completed this year.
