(QNO) - On May 19, on the occasion of the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), at the Hanoi Opera House, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to present the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2022.
At the ceremony, 128 authors and co-authors were awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2022; of which 16 authors and co-authors were awarded or posthumously awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize.
Quang Nam has 3 members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association who were awarded the State Prize for Literature and Arts. In the field of music, there is musician Nguyen Hoang Bich with the works “Tra My Yeu Thuong” and “Hoa Phong Ba Tren Dao Truong Sa”; musician Phan Van Minh with the works “Babooch with Alang Mieh” and “The Whole Family Loves Each Other”. In the field of photography, there is photographer Le Van with the work “Day Tro Ve”.
The Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Literature and Arts are noble awards for exceptionally excellent works of high literary and artistic value and ideological content; they are the recognition and evaluation of the Party, State and People for artists and intellectuals who have made many contributions to the development of the country's literature and arts.
