The highlight of the series of memorial activities will take place on June 18 and 19, including: organizing flower and incense offerings at the place where Hero, Martyr, Doctor Dang Thuy Tram sacrificed her life at Khe Nuoc Lanh; the art program "Dang Thuy Tram - Forever the Flame of Twenty" with the content introducing the play "Dang Thuy Tram" by author Nguyen Quang Vinh, director, Meritorious Artist Huy Thuc (University of Theater and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City) and music and dance performances on the theme of Hero, Martyr, Doctor Dang Thuy Tram.
In addition, the seminar "Dang Thuy Tram - Forever the flame of the twenties" was held to share and honor the contributions and sacrifices of Hero, martyr, and doctor Dang Thuy Tram, to spread historical traditions, ideals of life, and ideals of dedication to the revolutionary cause and national liberation; to launch the book "On the wings of love" - "Dang Thuy Tram and the third diary"; to donate books to libraries in Quang Ngai province.
According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Tien Dung, the organization of activities to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the sacrifice of Hero, Martyr, Doctor Dang Thuy Tram aims to demonstrate the morality of drinking water, remembering the source, remembering the great contributions of Hero, Martyr, Doctor Dang Thuy Tram to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, contributing to building new people, especially the young generation through traditionaleducation activities on revolutionary ideology and ethics, strong belief in ideals. From there, promote and arouse national pride, the will to be self-reliant, promote the tradition of patriotism and revolution in the cause of building and defending the homeland and the country.
