The 2025 Red River Festival is scheduled to take place from November 21 to 28.

Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 249/KH-UBND on organizing the Red River Festival in 2025.

Accordingly, the 2025 Red River Festival will be held with the theme: “Where the Red River flows into Vietnam”. The main activities will be held for 7 days, expected from November 21 to 28.

7 main activities will be held within the framework of the Red River Festival 2025, including: The opening ceremony of the Red River Festival is scheduled to be held at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday (November 22) at Lao Cai Cultural Park (Cam Duong Ward); experiencing ethnic cultural space, displaying culture and tourism of provinces and cities in the Red River basin from November 21 to 28 at Kim Tan Square (Lao Cai Ward); Traditional costume performance contest and performance of folk cultural rituals of Lao Cai province with the theme: "Impromptu brocade", scheduled to be held from November 21 to 22; Marathon Championship "Conquering Lung Po - where the Red River flows into Vietnam" in 2025, scheduled to be held from November 22 to 23; Sports exchange between businessmen and youth of Lao Cai province, Vietnam and Yunnan province, China, scheduled from November 26-27; The 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025 scheduled from November 23-28; The international workshop "Solutions to promote cooperation and development between the provinces of the Red River basin of Vietnam and Yunnan province - China" scheduled to be held on the afternoon of November 23 at the Lao Cai Provincial Convention Center...
