National Assembly to discuss new policies for education on November 20

(Dan Tri) - The amendment of the Law on Education, the Law on Higher Education, the Law on Vocational Education, along with specific mechanisms and policies to develop education, will be discussed by the National Assembly on Vietnam Teachers' Day, November 20.

On the morning of November 17, the National Assembly entered the 5th working week of the 10th session.

On the first working day of the new week, the National Assembly will hear reports and discuss the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to implement Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies to effectively implement Resolution No. 72 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health.

On the same afternoon, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 10 laws related to security and order; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization; and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Judicial Records.

At the end of the discussion session, the Minister of Public Security will explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly delegates.

Also this week, the National Assembly will discuss in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Public Debt Management; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Insurance Business.

Another important content discussed by the National Assembly during this working week is the discussion of the draft Resolution of the National Assembly stipulating a number of mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles in organizing the implementation of the Land Law ; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of specific mechanisms and policies to improve the effectiveness of international integration work and the investment policy for the Gia Binh International Airport construction investment project.

National Assembly deputies will also discuss in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Anti-Corruption; the Law on Tax Administration (amended); and the Law on Personal Income Tax (amended).

Three draft laws on education, including the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Education; the Law on Higher Education (amended); and the Law on Vocational Education (amended), will also be discussed by the National Assembly this week.

This content, along with the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to implement Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, will be discussed by the National Assembly for a whole day. The working session on this content will be broadcast live on television and radio on Vietnam Teachers' Day, November 20.

In addition, the National Assembly will discuss the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technology Transfer; the Law on High Technology (amended); the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Statistics; the Law on Bankruptcy (amended), and the Law on Artificial Intelligence.
