The club is organized and operates on the principle of voluntariness and democracy, meeting periodically every 6 months with the goal of gathering, uniting, and motivating reporters to promote their creative talents and complete their work well; having the opportunity to exchange and discuss expertise and skills. The establishment of the club will also contribute to building the Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association stronger and stronger, promoting the pioneering and exemplary spirit and preserving the ethics of Vietnamese revolutionary journalists.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, journalist Huynh Kien requested departments, branches, units and localities in the province to create favorable conditions for journalists in general and members of the Resident Reporters Club in particular to perform their professional tasks well. Club members unite, help each other in their professional and personal lives, comply with the provisions of law and journalistic ethics; contribute to promoting Gia Lai's development, encourage, cheer, spread beautiful images, and promote the image of the province to domestic and foreign readers.

The Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association also hopes that the establishment of the Club will help increase connectivity, further improve the quality of journalistic works, and contribute to the development of Gia Lai province.
