Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Nguyen Hoang Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
On behalf of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, there was comrade Pham Van Thanh, member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
Implementing the policy of streamlining the Party and State apparatus, in recent times, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group has reorganized its member units throughout the system, from more than 50 down to 34 affiliated single-member limited liability companies; ensuring that each province and city has one company.
Accordingly, Petrolimex Lang Son One Member Co., Ltd. was formerly Lang Son General Supplies Company (established in February 1967). In 1997, the petroleum business task of Lang Son General Supplies Company was transferred by the Provincial People's Committee to Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation, therefore, Lang Son Petroleum Branch was established and directly under Ha Bac Petroleum Company. In September 2025, Lang Son Petroleum Branch was upgraded to Petrolimex Lang Son One Member Co., Ltd., directly under Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
The company currently has more than 40 affiliated stores and franchised stores, accounting for 45% of the province's petroleum market share. Sales volume reaches over 80,000 m3 /year.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged that the Vietnam National Petroleum Group has made positive contributions to the province's economic and social development; ensuring the stability of the supply and quality of petroleum. He affirmed that the province always highly appreciates and accompanies to create an attractive and favorable investment and business environment for enterprises.
To further promote the contribution of Petrolimex Lang Son Company Limited to the socio-economic development of the province, he requested the company's Board of Directors to pay attention to investing in developing more gas stations on highways and in remote areas of the province; to accompany the provincial Party Committee and government in social security programs and sustainable economic development. He also requested the Vietnam National Petroleum Group to create the most favorable conditions for Petrolimex Lang Son Company Limited in business activities and to perfect the system in the province.
At the ceremony, comrade Pham Van Thanh, member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Petroleum Group thanked the local Party Committee and government for their attention, support and facilitation for the group.
He suggested that Petrolimex Lang Son One Member Co., Ltd. should focus on implementing a number of key tasks such as: maintaining safety, security, fire prevention and fighting, ensuring a stable supply of gasoline for the locality; expanding the gasoline retail network, focusing on green and clean energy; promoting digital transformation and automation; and building a quality workforce.
On this occasion, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group donated 5 billion VND to support the construction of classrooms and auxiliary works to create better learning conditions for ethnic minority students in Lang Son province.
