The book was compiled and published by Nghe An Publishing House, more than 500 pages thick, consisting of 2 parts. Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Association Nguyen Quang Thieu said that poet Tran Huu Thung was a man of profound knowledge, fluent in both Chinese and French. He soon succeeded in using his creative pen as a weapon of propaganda and struggle... This book launch event once again affirmed the value of his work and that of his generation.
According to poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, the person and work of poet Tran Huu Thung are a beautiful parallel. He lived and devoted himself to the fullest. He left behind great works, one of which is in the language of literature and poetry and another is his own life - a simple, honest, straightforward, intense and devoted person.
Poet Tran Huu Thung is a special character in a special land. He has created special beauty in his poetic creations and in his life. His poems, although written a long time ago, when read again still contain the ideological values of the times.
"The image and personality of Tran Huu Thung, as well as his life and creations, have become extremely valuable in our contemporary life today," affirmed Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Association Nguyen Quang Thieu.
Poet Huu Thinh, former Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Association, said that Tran Huu Thung's works have allowed today's readers to penetrate the resistance war in Thanh - Nghe - Tinh region, the second rear base of the whole country during the 9-year resistance war against the French, helping us to better understand a period when people in this land lived, devoted themselves, and sacrificed their blood for the country.
"Tran Huu Thung is the one who found his own path, from the crystallization of folk literature and the atmosphere of the times, leaving a precious legacy for future generations. These contributions are worthy of making Tran Huu Thung a representative of Vietnamese literature," poet Huu Thinh emphasized.
