VBTL 2025 is positioned as a playground with professional standards, close to and connecting the carom billiards community with the goal of modernizing and developing billiards culture in Vietnam.
The highlight of VBTL is the unique Team League format, which brings together 8 teams to compete in a round-robin format and each match is determined to be an all-out war. Competing in a team format, each team can register up to 8 members, including male and female players, reserve players and coaches (or team captains).

The team must have at least one U22 male player and a maximum of one player in the Top 48 of the World Carom Billards Federation (UMB) rankings. The teams will compete in a variety of events, including men's singles and duets, women's singles, U22 men's singles, mixed-women duets, as well as a six-person team relay, organized in a round-robin format.
Each match is played in a BO7 format, with each event being counted as a mini-match and each player playing a maximum of two events, except for the seventh match. The scoring is clearly defined: A dominant win earns three points, a loss receives no points, and narrow wins split points between the two teams.

Each match between two teams will be decided through 7 small games, each game represents different Carom formats. The team that wins the majority (4/7) will win the match.
VBTL is organized with the spirit of the message "Billiards for all - Connecting passion, elevating the movement". Each team is built with a harmonious combination of professional athletes (Pro Player), influential people (KOL) or semi-professional players.
This combination not only improves professional quality but also closes the gap between professional athletes and the amateur community, creating natural, fun interactions, carrying the true spirit of "real players, real emotions" of Vietnamese billiards.

The presence of female players - each team must have at least two female players in the official squad - is intended to promote gender equality and female participation in professional billiards. This ensures that VBTL is a fair playing field where female players' talents are recognized and maximized in a team environment.
The tournament prizes are really attractive, with a total value of more than 300 million VND. The champion team will receive 120 million VND, the second and third placed teams will receive 60 and 30 million VND respectively, the next ranked teams will also receive corresponding rewards. In addition, there are also additional prizes for players with excellent achievements.
The tournament will be livestreamed live on the official fanpage of VBTL and is expected to be broadcast on major TV channels such as VTVGo, SCTV Sports , ensuring nationwide coverage.
